Please see Picture of Cap Size to make sure distributor will fit in your vehicle. May not fit under SOME stock distributor shields, sometimes they can be modified to fit under shield. Shield is NOT needed with HEI anyway!
The HEI Distributor is the way to go on any NON-COMPUTER controlled Vehicle. The HEI Distributor has proven itself as a Reliable Ignition for many years! This HEI distributor can be used as a replacement distributor for existing HEI or can be used on a PRE-1974 vehicle as an Upgrade from Points.
We have noticed lately that the market has been flooded with everyone trying to produce a distributor for next to nothing in order to beat out the next guy for a few dollars, They do this buy cutting corners, they keep making the cap thinner (some of them wont even make the UPS trip to your house, how do you expect it to last on your car?) We have also noticed the wires are getting thinner to the module and from the coil, this cant be good (you wouldnt take your plug from your coffee pot to run power to your stove, would you?)
We have decided to come out with this distributor where we put quality first! You will see we use a Heavier gauge wire to the module and from the coil than some competitors, Our caps have brass contacts for better spark, we use a upgrade module and a high output coil. The base is machined from Aluminum and Polished to a nice finish! We keep our price down by not investing millions in telling you how good our product is with race cars, track events, etc...

Keep in mind HEI is roughly 5 1/4" So make sure you have clearence. We do not guarantee fitment in any vehicle due to the the various style of Aftermarket Intakes and Air Cleaners, Although we have found they fit most cars just great!
